News: Lady Chargers Volleyball With the Sweep!
Posted by Colleen Stafford, Last Updated: 4 days ago

Congratulations to our Lady Chargers Volleyball teams!  All three teams--Middle School White, Middle School Red, and JV--WON their games Friday against Vanguard Prep in Waco.  The non-air-conditioned Vanguard gym was HOT, but our girls were keeping their cool as they fought hard and came out on top.  Well done, Lady Chargers!

News: VOLLEYBALL KICK-OFF
Posted by John Ash, Posted: 28 days ago

Calling all lady volleyball players!
It's that time again! Although you may have noticed that unfortunate circumstances prevented us from holding our annual summer camp this year, we are very excited to get back into the swing of things and get ready for the fall season! If you are age 12-18 we invite you to attend our 2014 kick-off on Thursday, August 7th and Friday, August 8th at First Baptist Church in Belton from 1-4 p.m. We look forward to seeing all our returning ladies as well as all who will be joining us this fall for the first time. Come out and take a look!
This season the CenTex Chargers will be requiring all athletes to have a physical before playing in any game. To that end, on Thursday, August 7, Dr. Melissa Nieland will join us near the end of our session to offer physicals to all who need them, for the price of $20. We will have physical forms available that day if you are interested. We will also need a birth certificate for each child, so you might be locating that document too.
Also, at the end of our session on Friday, we will be holding a mandatory parents' meeting to discuss issues of general concern to our team, i.e., fees and funds, parent participation, practice/playing time, etc. We highly encourage at least one parent to attend this meeting. If you simply cannot attend that day, please set up a time to meet with the coach/coaches at a later time to cover the meeting material. Please note that your child will not play in games until this meeting happens. It's nothing complicated; we just all need to be on the same page from the beginning. Thanks for your cooperation!
So, bring your ball (if you have one) and your water bottle, and, for those of you who are new, you should know, we have a dress code which includes shorts not more than 3 inches above the knee and shirts with sleeves. Thanks ahead of time for your cooperation in this matter also. Knowing what we know from last season and this summer, we are looking forward to a great 2014! Our game schedule begins on August 21, and that's not very far away. Please come join us! It's a great opportunity to grow!
Thanks,
Sena Maddux

News: Football Parent Meeting/Equipment Day
Posted by Bryan Rugh, Last Updated: Mon Jul 21, 2014 @ 10:12 PM

Thanks to all of you that participated in our 2014 Summer Football Camp.  We had a record 38 participants this year!

The next important date to remember is JULY 31st!  This is the date for the mandatory parents meeting/equipment day.  The meeting will be held at Heritage Park at 6:00 PM.  We will have a brief, but mandatory, parent meeting to go over the football policies and registration requirements.  We will also be fitting and handing out equipment to those players who have registered and paid their $100 deposit fee.

If a parent is unable to come to this meeting, please let me know.  I will need to arrange a make up meeting or a phone conference for those unable to make it on the 31st.

See you on July 31st!
