News: TEXAS STATE HOMESCHOOL TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Posted by John Ash, Posted: Sun Apr 19, 2015 @ 11:42 AM

Many thanks to everyone who volunteered to make the track meet a great success! Even though we did not get to finish all the races, everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.

And this is why we do it ...

"I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you so much for hosting yesterday’s track meet in Belton.

Because of your hard work, my daughter, who loves running, was able to compete in her very first track meet.
I did not even know such things would be possible for her as a homeschooler.  She ran as an independent, so
thank you also for opening up the meet to kids like her who don’t have a team.  It was a really great experience
for her.  I know tremendous amounts of work and tireless volunteer hours went in to pulling
the meet together, so our sincerest thank you’s to you all.  Next year we will be proactive and see if we
can also serve.

Hope you get some well deserved rest!  Christ was indeed glorified in your service!

Sincerely,

Christy Schooler
mother of runner, Rebecca Schooler (14G)"
