Incredible Kids Celebration Jobs
We join with three other area youth organizations to host the Central Texas Incredible Kid Celebration, which provides us with significant sponsorships while continuing a very important community event that highlights the service of ten local youths and area adults and organizations that do great things for youth in our community.

The CenTex Chargers Homeschool Sports Association was honored at this event in 2012.
The date of the Celebration this year is Thursday, April 17, 2017.
Committee Chair [needed]: attends planning meetings with representatives of the other organizations approximately monthly August-February, and a little more often in March and April, recruits and monitors the jobs of the other committee members and volunteers, and attends the celebration luncheon, supervising the work of the volunteers that day.
Youth Selection Coordinator [needed]: emails the call for nominations to school districts, private schools, etc. in early January, prints the nominations and meets with the selection committee to read them and choose the ten youth honorees, notifies honorees and receives photos and information, writes a script about each youth to be read at the celebration
Adult Honorees Coordinator [needed]: send letter to each adult honoree (standard letter already written, and may be emailed), get information about the adult honorees, do the script to be read at the event about each honoree, choose and purchase the awards for the adult honorees
Youth Selection Committee: [2 needed] attend the one-time meeting of the selection committee to read the nominations and choose the ten youth honorees (2-3 needed)
Slide Show Designer: [needed] use photos of each youth and adult honoree to create a slide show for the event. A template from last year is available that you may copy and just insert the new pictures and names.
Entertainment Coordinator [GAYLE ASH] : secure a youth music group to perform at the celebration (such as a school choir, band, etc.)
Setup & Cleanup: help setup before the luncheon event and clean up afterward (several needed) [openings for several]
Check-in Staff: check in luncheon guests, checking to see if they have paid and directing them to their seats [4-5 needed]
Media Contact: [needed] distribute information about youth honorees to newspaper, television, and billboard media
